Posted a blog in support of @blogactionday countryside walks raised my awareness of climate chg issues #BAD09

For much of my life to be honest I did not take a great deal of
interest in what are called Green issues. I believed the science of
Climate Change but like many things it came under the umbrella term
‘stuff happens’

However three years ago I joined the UK Ramblers Association. Going
out on countryside walks enhanced my appreciation of the environment
immensely. Climate Change puts at risk much of what we take for
granted. While rambling in the rain is an experience the extreme
weather patterns wrought by climate change will have a profound change
for the worse on the environment we take for granted.

Going out into the countryside brings you closer to one technology that
can help us fight back against man made climate change, wind farms.
I disagree with ramblers who claim these are eyesores and ruin the
tranquility of the countryside.  On the contrary they are beautiful pieces
of technology.  To take wind and turn it into energy is positively amazing. So my message for Blog Action Day is to get out to the countryside.
Join a walking group. Appreciate your environment and take action on
Climate Change.
